Sandra Midgett is a professional artist who makes her home just across the state line in Oklahoma but is a member of the Mena Art Gallery here in Mena. She shows her work in our gallery frequently.

Her major concentrations are in watercolor, Prismacolor pencil, pastel, and digital photography. And just in case that is not enough, she also weaves, makes jewelry, and holds workshops.

Midgett has over 30 years experience in teaching art in Arlington, Texas, and is generous with her time and expertise for those of us who ask for help.

Her work, in addition to the Mena Art Gallery, can be seen in The Garden Gallery, Cape Girardeau, Mo., and the Gallery in Wilburton, Oklahoma.

Midgett is one of the many artists who are helping to develop Mena as an art center here in Southwestern Arkansas.
